Our inspiration for dialogue

Back in 2018, when I first started thinking about how to create community dialogues that would be meaningful and transformational, I read Gregory Ellison's book Fearless Dialogues. I was so inspired by the depth and passion of his work that I could not stop thinking about it. I was lucky enough to find out that he was presenting in Winston-Salem in a few months and went to see him in action and requested a meet and greet.

Watching him speak was inspirational. He had such a depth of passion and presence that everyone in the room was transfixed. And that was hard given that we were in a

large convention center luncheon! His advice to me was to believe in my purpose and to reach out to others to join me. I took that advice to heart and although COVID-19 is slowing us down, we will be looking at alternative ways to host dialogues. In the meantime, enjoy this interview with Dr. Ellison speaking of his passion for creating dialogue.
